Koh Elwood takes Government Requirement very serious and we maintain high standards when it comes to our salon procedures and we work extremely hard as a team to make sure government requirements are met.

We have a COVIDsafe plan to ensure we provide WHS for both our team and our clients.

In return, we ask that you support us and do your part in the process to ensure we can remain open.

  1. Please respond promptly to appointment confirmation texts.  We have an on-going cancellation/waitlist. If you do not reply within 24 hours, we may cancel your appointment and give the appointment to the next waiting client. We ask for your utmost co-operation when it comes to this as we are trying our best to accommodate everyone during this time.

  2. It is a requirement that all visitors to the salon check-in with Services Victoria via the QR code at the front desk. It is a further requirement that your Covid-19 digital certificate be available for viewing. We recommend linking the two by following these steps.

  3. All of our staff are fully vaccinated. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.

  4. Clients and staff are required to wear a mask. If you have a medical exemption, please make us aware with plenty of notice as social distancing requirements still apply and we may need to reschedule your appointment for a time out of hours to allow for adequate social distancing.

  5. We request that clients reschedule their appointment if they are experiencing any flu like symptoms. This is important to ensure our client’s health and also our own. Unwell clients may be refused entry to the salon.

  6. We kindly ask you to come to your appointment alone (when possible) to ensure our capacity requirements are maintained. If you are unable to find suitable care for your child, please call the salon with plenty of notice to let us know.

  7. We encourage all clients to sanitise their hands before sitting in their designated seat. This can be done using soap and water in the rest room or using our provided hand sanitisers. We also encourage use of these sanitising services throughout your appointment. There is a hand sanitiser bottle at every hair station.

  8. We further recommend bringing your own entertainment (such as a book, iPad, phone etc) as we are unable to supply magazines.
