Koh Elwood takes Government Requirement very serious and we maintain high standards when it comes to our salon procedures and we work extremely hard as a team to make sure government requirements are met.

We have a COVIDsafe plan to ensure we provide WHS for both our team and our clients.

In return, we ask that you support us and do your part in the process to ensure we can remain open.

  1. Please respond promptly to appointment confirmation texts.  We have an on-going cancellation/waitlist. If you do not reply within 24 hours, we may cancel your appointment and give the appointment to the next waiting client. We ask for your utmost co-operation when it comes to this as we are trying our best to accommodate everyone during this time.

  2. Clients are required to wear a mask at all times.

  3. We request that clients reschedule their appointment if they are experiencing any flu like symptoms. This is important to ensure our client’s health and also our own. Unwell clients may be refused entry to the salon.

  4. We ask all clients to arrive with clean, dry, freshly washed hair to all appointments.

  5. We kindly ask you to come to your appointment alone (when possible) to ensure our capacity requirements are met. If you are unable to find suitable care for your child, please call the salon with plenty of notice to let us know.

  6. We will be taking everyones temperature before entering our salon. Clients who exceed a 'normal' range of temperature may be refused entry. We appreciate that temperatures may fluctuate for many reasons but we will be abiding by government guidelines during this time.

  7. We will be asking all clients to sanitise their hands before sitting in their designated seat. This can be done using soap and water in the rest room or using our provided hand sanitisers. We also encourage use of these sanitising services throughout your appointment. There is a hand sanitiser bottle at every hair station.

  8. We recommend bringing your own refreshments/beverages to enjoy during your service, as we will not be providing any, due to hygiene concerns.

  9. We further recommend bringing your own entertainment (such as a book, iPad, phone etc) as we will not be supplying magazines.

  10. We will be providing individual storage boxes, with lids for client’s jackets/cardigans.

  11. Our basin area is a ‘Quiet Zone’ This will ensure no talking over heads and you can relax and fully enjoy your salon experience.

  12. We understand it has been a long time since your last visit so your roots and your hair cuts will be much longer than usual. We understand everyone will be needing and wanting all the bells and whistles so your stylist will quote you before they begin.

  13. Please let us know if you have performed any D.I.Y jobs to ensure adequate care and possible correction.

  14. As we are under great demand we ask that you are patient with us while waiting on your appointment and your time in the salon.
