Mhairi is our passionate salon owner and industry leader. Having commenced her hairdressing journey as an apprentice in Scotland at age 15, she's now been in the industry for over 20 years.

 

Following her heart and passion for styling hair she fell in love with the beauty and culture of Australian fashion and has never looked back.

Mhairi didn’t take long to establish herself in the Australian industry going on to become a successful salon owner and most importantly an inspiring leader to her team.

 

Mhairi has a deep passion for learning and believes constant education is vital. 

“Education is fundamental to our development and growth in the industry.  We should always strive to be on top of our game.”

Mhairi’s work has taken her to Berlin Alternative Fashion week, Paris and London and regularly works on campaign shoots.

Mhairi feels very honoured to work alongside Kevin Murphy and his team of Masters at major events such as Melbourne Fashion week, each year.

She is very inspired by the philosophy and simple styling that Kevin Murphy represents. 

She says, “To create a soft flowing updo with a needle and thread is just genius, it has really helped strip back the perfectionist side of me and let loose.”
